Is MYOB the same as ABSS in Singapore?+
MYOB sold its Asia business under the ABSS (Accounting Business Solutions by Sage) brand for a period, and later rebranded again. In Singapore the product is commonly called ABSS Accounting (formerly MYOB Accounting) or ABSS Premier (formerly MYOB Premier). Functionally identical to the MYOB range most Singapore businesses know.
Does ABSS support InvoiceNow in Singapore?+
As of 2026, ABSS does not have native InvoiceNow / PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 output. GST-registered manufacturers required to issue e-invoices to government buyers or companies that mandate InvoiceNow will need either an access point integration or a system that natively outputs the required UBL 2.1 XML format.
Can a custom system integrate with ABSS / MYOB?+
Yes. ABSS has import/export capabilities and in some versions an API. Most Start Canyon builds integrate with ABSS via CSV export from the custom system into ABSS, or via a direct database connection for read-only sync. The custom system owns the operational workflow; ABSS receives the completed transaction data for accounting.
